The Scottish Knights Templar are made up of the living descendants of the Knights Templar who lived in Scotland beforethey were exiled in 1307.
The Scottish Knights Templar also comprise knights who took refuge in Scotland from France. The order was originally founded in 1118 A.D by eight knights and are probably best known for their military role in the Holy Land during the Crusades.
